Learn Spanish through simple everyday conversations and stories brought to you by native spanish speakers from Spain and Latin America and explained in English. Very easy Spanish lessons that will help you improve your language skills. This video will help you improve your listening or comprehension skills in Spanish. This is the episode #16 of Español en Contexto and in it Miguel, our Spanish friend, will share with us his experience trying to overcome some bad habits and trying to create some good ones. I assure you that you'll learn a lot of Spanish because Miguel will use different expressions, common sayings and vocabulary that you can use when talking about your goals, good and bad habits, personal growth, and in many other contexts. By learning new words in the right context you will remember them easily and you will be able to start using the Spanish you learn in this lesson right away.
If you are just starting to learn Spanish I recommend you to watch these videos too:

Hola buena, Salo y Miguel. Aprendo español por mi cuenta desde hace 6 meses y escucho su podcasts todos los días. Me encanta muchísimo su podcast porque puedo escuchar 2 acentos diferentes. Me encantan mucho también los cuentos y las explicaciones en cada episodio. Deseo agradecerse por el trabajo maravilloso. ❤

Excellent job. Thank you. I suggest giving the literal translation to idiomatic expressions as well as the idiomatic meaning. For example - “sacarle el jugo a algo” literally means “to get the juice out of something” and the idiomatic meaning is “to make the most of something”. It helps me to understand and remember the expression.

¡Hola, Salo! Son muy interesantes tus vídeos. Yo solia hacer senderismo hasta que se me estropeó la rodilla . Pasé a andar lo menos posible para no empeorar. Pero desde que empezó la pandemia, me era totalmente imposible quedarme mucho tiempo en la computadora o leyendo. Así que decidí caminar todos los días por media hora en el pátio del condomínio. Y ahora sé que no puedo vivir sin ese hábito.

I like your videos. However I don’t know where to begin. This particular video has too many expressions and idioms for me to get much out of it. Maybe I could learn approximately half of these expressions idioms at one time. So my question is where in your videos should I begin? Also for such a complicated short story I don’t understand why you use English in the middle in order to explain simple things if someone can understand a good portion of the story there will be an able to understand simple Termanology when you are explaining the expressions idioms etc. Thank you so so much I love learning Spanish and I love your stories

Prof. Acaba de observar..y me encanta sus lecciones..pero..es posible que Miguel habla demaciado rapido?.. Es normal velocidad entre hispanos? Es como el esta en una competencia. Si, admito que estoy aprendiendo pero especialmente esta video el habla muy rapido y casi no tiene tiempo a respirar. Perdoname..no quiero estar "rude"..estaba pensando si es normal. Gracias
@UseyourSpanish
@UseyourSpanish 3 жыл бұрын
ja, ja, ja no te preocupes, no eres grosera (rude). La verdad es que este es un ejercicio que puede ayudarte a entrenar tu capacidad para entender a los hablantes nativos. Dependiendo de la región y del contexto vas a encontrar personas que hablen más despacio o más rápido que en este vídeo. Lo importante es ejercitar tu habilidad de comprensión auditiva.

@@UseyourSpanish thanks. Doesn’t seem like you have a video regarding ordering food. Also I appreciate if you make at least 2-3 videos about sentence structure which is very important, like placements of nouns adjectives verbs cause they r mostly different than english, and can be confusing. Also more videos about conjugations.
