This is more helpful if you turn the volume off then only read the Spanish line, then check the other to see if you were correct

I love your videos like this because these are not the normal phrases that are so often taught. However, they are still so useful. I learn structure and a lot of new vocabulary. Me encantan sus vídeos como esto porque no son los frases normales que se enseña frecuentamente. Sin embargo, ya son muy útiles. Aprendo la estructura y mucho vocabulario nuevo.

I think both are acceptable. It's a comparison between tú (prefieres/vas) and usted (prefiere/va).

I thought so at first, but the 3 repetitions in Spanish reinforce the meaning and I think offset the primary English, for me at least.

The questions are all about fishing for someone's personal information: how long you've been here, how big is your family, and how much you know about or have assimilated into American culture (mac n' cheese? freshly baked cookies? Michael Jackson and K-Pop?).
