Hi everyone, Paul here :)
There's actually a little confusion (even controversy) over the verb "to remember" in Spanish.
That's because there's a couple of different options out there however what I'm teaching you here is considered to be the most used, most common way to express this idea of "remembering" regardless of whether you're in Spain or Latin America.
As you'll discover, it's a highly useful verb that you'll find yourself using all the time in your everyday, spoken Spanish and there's a distinct formula for using it. It's something that takes a bit of getting used to.
The very "acordarse" carries a literral meaning to "to remind oneself" and it always used as a reflexive verb for this purpose... no exceptions!
Enjoy and see you next Monday,
Paul
