I have loved Spanky and our Gang ever since I was little. Their music has been incredible and extremely rare in this world. I saw Elaine years ago in Atlantic City in a concert in 1984 and she was fantastic and the audience was incredibly respectful !!!!!

This is just absolutely awesome! So glad you extended the ending. I always hated it that they ended it too abruptly when it changed to that melody! Thanks for making this!

I have always wondered why the music engineer ends a song at a certain place, and the style of the ending sometimes abrupt and sometimes the song trails off and fades.But the song usually goes on for a short amount of time that we don't hear

There was another stretch of this song several years ago that I recall being longer. All of a sudden , it vanished. Wish that one would come back.

It needs a good strong ending instead of fading out or being cut off. But you're right it's a fabulous song that resonates in your head and can be listened to for hours !!!!!

Spanky McFarlane replaced Cass Elliot in the rejuvenated Mamas & Papas for a tour in the UK back in the early 80's. Before she formed Spanky & Our Gang she was a singing waitress in Florida! I think she did other gigs as a member of the M&P's in the USA too? GREAT EXTENDED VERSION!!!
