I’m pretty new to coin collecting and just made my first big purchase. Got a 1913s AU55 Indian Half. I figured it was a very nice looking coin, and a more desirable date than your most commons.

I just bought a 1909 $5 Indian Half Eagle Plain (No Mint Mark) in XF for $350. A very resplendently astonishing coin with its incuse design.

It's sooo cool that America has so many coins JUST from the last few hundred years, whaereas we in England have had in esscence the same coins for ever. admittedly there were tuppences etc, but there are only so many to collect. Keep em coming! ~Laserlad

I have a $5 coin in mint condition that was produced in 1911 that I acquired from my grandfather. I know this is the most valuable one because of the year but cannot figure out how much it is really worth. Any help?

I agree with Teddy Roosevelt .Our coinage at the time was pretty boring and uninspiring . At the time it was everything Barber ( except for the magnificent Indian head penny)

I was impressed with your info on the IndianHead Gold Eagle 1911$ 5.00 and $2.50 coins I have a 1911 D all the markings are Great but it weighs 4.25 grams and that is what the 2.50 coin weighs their about mine is stamped Five Dollars is it possible that it's an error coin

Quarter Eagles are a very popular coin for coin jewelry. I have always wondered if there are coins out there in grades that are that lesser than XF. Since our grading system works on a scale of 0 to 70 that is an applicable matter to all circulated coins. Thus, gold would fall into this category, however, I, for example, have never seen a F-12 St. Gaudens gold piece. Numismatics is what really makes the world go round! I love Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars!! Numismatic Fanatic am I!

Like the video in the message, but the music in the background sucks ruin the whole experience. Can only handle it for about 4 minutes. You can hear turn that music down or just get rid of it. You don't need it. You got enough going on.

Great video mark!!! Thanks. But tell that guitar player to play a new lick!! 😝🤣 maybe I was the only one that felt like this video was worth more than a 20second loop of call center hold music. “I’d like to keep my place in line, and leave my number to have a representative call me back in 11 minutes.” Thank you.

Seeing this in 2020 and would be great for you to do an update. First off, with gold in the $1,790 - $1,950 but now on a slow downward trend, getting low Mint State Indian Half and Quarters can be expensive. I also find as long as you go no lower than EF you will still get an attractive coin from this series. Of course low MS or high AU is preferred on a budget. I think it is a great coin to start buying and colelcting if you want to get gold coins. They have both numismatic and investment value. Is it an investment with the lowest premium but it is one with strong numismatic interest and with the bullion Gold Buffaloes sold by the US Mint each year, it supports investment in these INdian Eagle as the design themes are similar. My plan is to go no lower than EF grade and save up for a few common dates in low MS or very high AU. Finally get the key date but probably in EF tops and one common date in a nice MS grade. If gold drops further as I hope it does, then I will invest in higher grade coins --- but I envy those who watched this in 2009 and bought these, the prices were great then compared to now and the past prior year or two.

I didn't know you had a coin series, let alone knew you collected coins. I have a giant collection with some sweet coins which were given to me from my mother who go them from her mother. Also, Sony Vegas 9 is annoying at times, but I don't have 8. So I deal with it. I also really liked your tuts too.

He said Indian very rarely YOU KNEW WHAT HE WAS SAYING. He was saying the Indian coin was because they have the "Native American" head on it. Why does every pull the race card. It is stupid there is NO point. he said what he said. He didn't mean it mean at all he was finding a way to say witch type of coin it was.

Love these video's! They get my collecting bug all revved up again! I've been investigating picking up some of these specific coins because I love the design. But one thing has put me off. Its seems from what I have been reading the Chinese have been producing tons of fakes coins in fake slabs. I'm sure I'm not qualified to spot those fakes. Are you worried that these fakes might hurt the market for real coins?

Yeah, I still don't get the part where that name lasted for about 400 years but whatever. I can assure you Mark is very well informed of the country of India. Mark is also a bit of a history buff and is simply stating the historical facts of our country in the most common names available, it's common cents (jk). While insisting on PC terms you should have respect for others, at least I would imagine that's what that the not lame red Indian faced Gandhi would say.
