I've been playing bass for 20 years and Juna has more talent in one thumb than I have in my entire body 😳

@@robertdavey2660 42 for me. How about that thumb-back-stroke? So CLEAN. So CONCISE... and that look on her face. She's a true badass.
@robertdavey26603 жыл бұрын
@@grithersound umm it's closer to 43 years for me :) yeah her technique is brilliant- you can see the notes she's playing and those quick slides-phew! I really have to concentrate to slide from a C to a D on the 17th fret using the A string so i dont stuff it up!
@printemil3 жыл бұрын
I’ve been playing for fifty years and am in complete awe of her tone, phrasing, embellishments (she embellishments notes better that anyone I’ve ever seen), technical competent and (of course) her timing is impeccable. What Juna has cannot be taught and that one person should have all her gifts. . . .just isn’t fair.

I went home and burned my bass. Picked up the Jugg...saw Brisco Darling on the Andy Griffith Show. Broke Jugg. Picked up the Spoons. Too po'...could only afford one. Dang.

Takoyaki knows his way around the fretboard and burns it up like a mad master riffman. There's only one Juna Serita. Amazing talent. Love all of the grooves and funk that you guys are producing together. Mimi is right there driving it. Very fine work y'all. Much love from the Sand Hills region of South Carolina USA.

I had been thinking recently, "What's Juna Serita up to?" Now I know. The tune is short and sweet with great bass playing and a very cool drummer. I like the way MiMi caught the "paragraph" change in Juna's solo.

Omg, June Serita is phenomenal! Her bass solo was the coolest thing I’ve seen in years! And her keyboard performance was awesome as well. I’m even more impressed because this appears to be an original song, and yet (unlike Bruno Mars) it actually sounds like an original composition, not a cheap knockoff of a prior artist’s work. I really liked the 4-pack video format, it was a great way to show the keyboard work and other players. The drummer and other guitarist were great too. I’m so happy I came across this video, I had no idea this existed.
