THE END OF LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE The comments here are just further proof of the egocentric nature of human beings .... the end of life on this planet doesn't necessarily mean "the end of life in the universe" and is not any particular tragedy. We are not any more important than the chemicals that made us. Look at how we treat each other and our resources. We burn through everything as fast as possible in the name of profit for a few greedy turds and then they spend all of their time and energy trying to steal it from each other. Evolution has been an experiment gone wrong. The universe doesn't need us anymore than we need a galaxy on the other side of the universe. Everything moves on to its ultimate end.

Are we really any more important than any other forms of life that have inhabited it ?
