Heartbreaking to think how alone and in pain Mark was. That drummer is amazing.

Crying just watching this :( I remember listening to this years ago and it has got me through so many dark times. I hope mark knew just how much his music meant to so many people. We miss you X

hes literally on like, a three piece kit too. the amount of creativity and feeling you need to have to make that kit work is insane. its weird how music does this big circle all the way back to simple stuff being the most interesting.

I always looked forward to everything he brought out with great anticipation. When I learned of his death I remember thinking 'that's one less thing to look forward to in life'. Remarkable man.

I've discovered Mark Linkous a couple of weeks ago thanks to Trentemoller and today Mark reminded me of Jason Molina in numerous ways. I decided to do a little check-up and found out that Jason also passed away few months ago. Please search for Song:Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co. you will not regret it.

She was there as a fellow recovering addict, trying to keep him clean. His life was a tragedy, and he was destitute and alone by the end. “The sad beautiful world of sparklehorse” tells the whole heartbreaking story. He was a survivor. But everyone has a breaking point. He was a good man. But what’s beautiful to you was pain, humiliation and heartbreak for him.
