Hi Jazmin; been using your video on waltz jumpin. Also I need to add rotations like you do on off ice warm up and workout. My thoughts on this video. First GEE YOU HAVE more upper body power now, wow. Being a close fan of your site , skating, and you, over 5 years now. I think you are a TOP TIER figure skater that gets back up no matter what. What I was noticing, on your harder jumps, triples The Landing to me looked good yet you crashed out. I am no way expert, yet used to watching you skate. Today in your New skates and Blades, you looked perfect. Now me oh gosh me older yet still figure skating. I noticed on my new skates and blade I had to almost learn to skate all over again. The boot was correct. I had to practice more. Now the boot fits better now, IMO still just as stiff. I did have an issue with ankle swelling, that is gone now. The ONE CONSTANT is The sharpening by Pro Shop Head Tech, Simon at Oakland Ice Center, perfect I am on 5/8 ROH, yes I do clean up the edges with "CCM" blade hard rubber stone and the leather finishing cloth. Yet The ONLY sharpening was done July 9, 2022 by Simon. That really helped me progress, with the big rocker and spinning sweet spot staying constant. I think on your last boot having so many sharpenings on your blades did two things, change the shape of the big rocker, and possibly take out the heat temper of your blades making them more prone to get dull fast. So again my thoughts were that this was causing you issues.. I would bring up this with your coaches, just to make sure you stay safe with the power you can put down on the ICE.. I hope I do not upset you in any way, I do care in Heart you stay safe. Best Kristy

Also it make sense that it’s more tiring on stiffer skates because there is more resistance to bending that you have to push through!

I just got Eden Ice flys! Been using chorus before and they’re so stiff I still can’t jump after a few days now 🥲🥲🥲 but the chorus were way too soft for me

I need new Jackson ultamas. One of my speed hooks went missing and I had them for 5 years. I just can't afford new skates every year, actually not even now.

I see that is the new model with one tab in the top. One question, I just bought the ice fly, boot I am having a lot of problems with the right boot: missing foam (then is bigger inside), the tongue is slow in the toe and doesn't cover the eyelets, the heel slip and move, and I can press the ankle with one hand, is soft, however the left is very hard. They are new: 8h in the ice. Can you tell me if your boots can be squeezed in the ankle being news? Thanks!

What were the things you had on your heels/ankles before you put your skates on? I always have blisters on my heels and there’s actually a hole in the heel on the inside of my boot. I can’t afford new boots so I was wondering if what you were wearing helps prevent blisters?
