Another beautiful scene...again learned a lot while you paint and tell is your thoughts...very valuable info...I think every video I've learned something New..going back to the oldies but goodies as well. Love your choice of color and always harmonious throughout... An artists color mixing, and brushwork is what makes each artist stand out...really beautiful...wonderful way to end the yr. One thing that's so valuable learned from you..and not easy for some or noticeable unless you really listen...is when painting...get in there. Prep..have a plan..although may change...but don't be afraid...it's all about learning...can't hit that note unless You go for it. ..And that's what you do...don't be afraid it's only paint...practice along with mistakes is all part of the learning curve. .. This is great. I'm learning so much. Thanks! Would love to see a video in which you reveal your brush management process. I know you solvent-free, and I'd like to get there. But I'm curious how you clean the pallet and brushes, and store them. And, like, how do you store your linseed oil, rags, etc...Also, things like, what's your easel setup? Like, below the magnetized brushes. Sounds silly, but I sometimes find myself digging around for things, and what I think is an orderly setup turns out not to be. :) I've captured bits and pieces from various videos and full-length videos, but I also know you've changed your setup a bunch. Help! Thanks!

Love this landscape. As some others have requested, would you please make a DVD of this particular painting? I would buy one even though I only use Acrylic Paints. What do you use baby oil for?

I'm totally HOOKED on your videos! Discovered your channel this week and I'm going one by one, watching every single one in order to get down to your very first video. You made me decide to start oil painting. I still need to get my supplies but I have a couple questions. 1. Timing. Upon researching, it turns out oil paintings take a HECK OF A TON of time. I'm just curious, since you never mention it, how much time is between the cuts in your videos? It seems like you just painted some more stuff in minutes and then jumpcut to another layer. So is it minutes, hours or months between jumpcuts? And can you please talk about finishing paintings? Do you varnish your paintings? If so, after how long and how do you store them before varnishing? 2. My brain's a mush trying to understand all the other supplies aside from the actual paint - oils, solvents, alkyds, primers etc etc etc. Could you please talk about those in videos? It seems like there are only paints and nothing else on your palette so I was convinced you only used paints. Thank you so much for your videos as they are now my addiction. Hope you could address some of my concerns in future. Looking forward for more! Best wishes to you Kevin!

I like the soft tones of this painting, but it took me a while to get used to it. Most of my paintings have a brighter sky with a little “Bob Ross“ blue, if you know what I mean. I have never tried coding only the top half with clear gel or liquid white. I was originally schooled by Bob Ross back in the day and I typically coat the whole canvas without thinking about it.
