Sapphire and Garnet should be faster because of sapphire’s speed shown in the episode Jailbreak, as well as the effects of having future vision

I actually composed my own variation of this crossover (not on KZfaq, just on a Google Document for fun) with the characters as Trainers, and here's what I came up with: Steven = Fairy/Normal Connie = Normal/Fighting Greg = Electric/Normal Amethyst = Fighting/Ground Pearl = Psychic/Fairy Garnet = Psychic/Fighting Ruby = Fire/Fighting Sapphire = Ice/Psychic Lapis = Water/Flying Peridot = Steel/Rock Bismuth = Fighting/Rock Jasper = Fighting/Dragon Eyeball = Fire/Dark Aquamarine = Water/Dark Yellow Pearl = Electric/Fairy Blue Pearl = Water/Fairy White/Pink Pearl = Fairy Yellow Diamond = Electric/Dragon Blue Diamond = Water/Dragon White Diamond = Psychic/Dragon Pink Diamond = Fairy/Dragon Rose Quartz = Fairy/Fighting Spinel = Poison/Fairy Other characters people may or may not know about: Hessonite = Fighting/Steel Demantoid = Steel/Dragon Pyrope = Fairy/Dragon Basically all the high Rank gems would have at least one Dragon Pokémon, except for Hessonite for reasons that are explained in the ending of "Save the Light". Steven's Lion would be replaced by Solgaleo, (since Solgaleo has wormholes like Lion's portals). Every important(ish) character also has a Mega Pokémon or a Gigantamax: Steven - Latias Connie - Latios Amethyst - Garchomp Pearl - Medicham (Shiny) Ruby - Gallade Sapphire - Gardevoir Lapis - Lapras (G-Max) Peridot - Aggron Bismuth - Machamp (G-Max) Emerald - Scizor (Shiny) Hessonite - Aerodactyl (fake Dragon) Demantoid - Duralodon (G-Max) Pyrope - Altaria Jasper - Garchomp (eventually sides with Amethyst) Aquamarine - Sharpedo Yellow Diamond - Manectric Blue Diamond - Gyarados White Diamond - Mewtwo Spinel - Garbodor (G-Max) Pink/Rose - Diancie

Very cool idea! I think you nailed them as far as stats and abilities for the most part. I do think it would make sense for Sapphire to be faster though. It’s not focused on a lot, but it does seems like Sapphire has super speed as a power. It was shown in her debut in Jailbreak, and I think they’ve shown it occasionally since then. Sapphire could work as Jynx on steroids, with high special stats and speed, but with a better movepool, abilities, and typings. The Forewarn ability could also work thematically for Sapphire, but it’s not a really good ability so I think I would prefer the ones you gave her haha

I don’t agree with making them all half rock types. Their abilities aretoo unique to all be rock types

Personally I would go for no rock type for bismuth. Her gem is metal rather than stone, so I think she could be pure steel, steel fighting or steel fire

I feel like you missed an opportunity with Sapphire to give her Glaciate as an ability

Steven should have 2 evolutions. The *mega evolution* should be Corruptd steven

Lapis and lapras get it guys they sounds similar.

I expected (if everyone Wasn't rock) lapis would be water/flying like gyardos

I love this and agree with everything other than the fact you made sapphire psychic and not ice. i don't think her future vision really gives her the psychic type, just like how it didn't give garnet the psychic type. garners a fighter so of course she gets the fighting type, sapphires uses ice powers so she should’ve got the ice type 🤧

You should make a pokemon steven universe game

I believe Rock/Ice was still better for Sapphire. As Rock/Psychic she doesn't benefit from Hail, even she will get buffeted by it. Furthermore her only psychic themed ability in the show is future vision which would turn in the move Future Sight. Not to mention she's is Ruby's counterpart in that's Ruby's hot tempered and Sapphire has a cold dispostion. And it's not strange for an Ice-type to utilize Psychic moves seeing that it can be considered Ice Magic

Personally Pearls aren’t rock but really organic. I think she would’ve been a Fairy Psychic because of her being the most feminine and boasts more typically magical powers.
