My understanding is there are no changes to the rules.

They added a blue dice variant people played the original game with to this version’s rule book as a potential variant which gives slower SPD gladiators a better chance at winning initiative. Basically make a dice string of blue dice to determine initiative as you would in combat with ATK/DEF instead of totaling your blue dice rolls.

@@littleweaselboy2865 Short version (hopefully makes better sense :D) Instead of adding a gladiator's SPD dice together with the higher total winning Initiative, a Dice String is created with each gladiator’s Speed Dice (same as with Attacking/Defending). Highest roll wins and in the case of a tie, you continue down the dice string until the gladiator with the higher die wins initiative. This gives slower gladiators a slightly higher chance at winning initiative than with the original rules. On page 4, there is a note which reads "Note: Coins may change hands between players at any time! There are no restrictions on when Coins may change hands." However, on the previous page it states "Don't be an ass about it. Everyone plays games to have a good time. Ultimately, you're playing to have fun with your friends - keep that in mind as you're plotting to destroy their House." I would say your situation should take both of those rules into consideration 😉
