This is one of the 3 video games from my childhood, currently im taking allot of inspiration from it for my DnD campaigns. Seeing speedruns make me smile since i as a child never could get past the crasseus fight for the first time or the final boss fight

What a game, remember my mum buying me this for my 8th birthday, couldn’t sleep on the night before my birthday, got to play it at like 4am before school haha. Good to see a fellow Scotsman with taste!

Great speedrun pal, this is one of my favorite games ever and i've wanted to do a speedrun myself on hard difficulty some day. But anyways, I just have 1 tip for the last mission. RIght before you enter the colisseum you can't damage the enemies inside by any means until you enter the arena. You can use your bow with the special three times and they will just keep fighting. Or at least that's what happens on hard difficulty. It's good to know that there's some people still giving this gem some love.

This is a great run. I actually started to run this game after watching this. I can say that some of the strats for bosses work in hard mode because I tried a run there but you take a lot more damage. Took me 4 and a half hours on my first attempt. I don't have any way to record yet so I can't challenge it yet but I have gotten sub 3 hours with loading screens, so you might have competition soon if you want to come back to this game.

Glad you enjoyed it! I've not been able to practise for a couple years unfortunately.. not sure if I'll ever return to it. I'm glad so many people got to enjoy something I loved and that a handful of new speedrunners were inspired to start learning the game :)

@@JonaTechVillage Yeah it sucks that the game is not on PC, I was pretty good back in the day and I'm sure I could show a good time, but I (and I think many others) just don't want to bother with emulations Yeah your run was really enjoyable, I'm glad I found it

Thanks for your message! Hmm if you're playing a physical copy of the game there may not be anything you can do. If you're playing an emulation best to trying a different emulation file

Hey, I was using a pair of Betron HD800s, not sure if they are still made but Betron is an okay company for cheap Bluetooth headphones/earphones. I wouldn't really recommend them as I stopped using them after 5/6 months and got some HyperX Cloud II headphones which were really great!

@@clemmonkaufmann1489 I am now using a pair of HyperX Mix headphones I got as a gift. I'd say the Cloud II has slightly better sound quality but the Mix has Bluetooth that can easily last 16 hours which is great for everyday use. (Can't use the microphone when on Bluetooth which is a shame :( ) Just depends if you need something for gaming or general use too. I've heard really good things about Razer and Astro too :)
