Sabaton has, since they started 25 years ago, done 10 albums. All their songs are about history related war stories. I guess that not everyone likes metal music, but if you think this is bad because it's about history, I just feel bad for you. We all need to reflect on history and not forget what happened and not forget about the people that sacrificed themselves for others' freedom. I hope you someday understand that as well.

let me give you what the song is about (Based off a true story) Attack of the dead men in WW1 august 6 1915 the Germans were going after the Osowiec fortress, where the Russians were holding it off. Sometime that day the Germens used Poison gas to kill the Russians (They knew the Russians had no gas mask to protect them), after the Germans released the gas, they expected the Russians to be dead, as the Germans got closer and closer to the green fog (from the gas) they saw half dead Russians charging at them, the Russians were coughing up there own lungs, and there faces were bleeding, this led the Germans to retreat due to them being scared for there lives (it is the closest thing we have to a real zombie) if you think about it, it is really badass

Being a Swedish band, their songs cover a huge part of the world's history. They've actually made songs about American heroes as well. I recommend you to check out their official lyric videos for "82nd all the way"(about Alvin York, who became famous for saving the day in WW1) and "Devil dogs" (About the US Marines). And the official music video for "To hell and back" (about Audie Murphy, the most decorated American soldier of WW2). Also check out their animated story video for "No bullets fly" (it's an incredible story about an American military aircraft, that gets rescued by a German pilot in WW2). If you choose not to do any more reactions to Sabaton, that's fine. But I recommend you to check out these stories on your own time. This band has told stories I've never heard of. And I'm a history buff myself.

Hey, mah dude. I get yer not a metal head. That's fine. Little context though. Saboton is a metal band that makes music almost exclusively about real world war stories. And yeah, it all kinda sounds like music videos for trailers or games. I find it bad ass. Someone else said it, but this song is about a German attack on a Russian military instillation. They gassed the Russians and thought them all dead. The Russians, knowing they were dead anyway, said "fuckit" and grabbed their weapons, charging the German advance. These Russians were battle hardened monsters. Their skin was sloughing off their bones and they advanced with the rage of divinity made manifest. The very sight caused the German army to retreat. When you have stories like this to pull from. . . you don't need to make shit up. Reality is far more hellish and hardcore than any fantasy. And that's what Saboton tries to bring out.
