I find this chunking concept interesting. I'm 69 and studied this a bit when working on a Masters degree in the Teaching of English to Speakers of other Languages. That was back in the 1980s. I had not really thought much about it lately until I came across Spring Spanish by accident.Though I didn't think much about it, I do think it's a very good concept despite the importance at times of just one word. I think what I like about Spring Spanish so much so far is the kind of theatrical aspect of many of the videos I watch. Personally, I learned Spanish in Spain where I lived for 2 years long ago but at my first trip to Mexico I quickly decided to focus more on the Spanish of the Americas than from Spain.

Alberto desde Moscu Feliz jueves, Maura!! Tus respuestas llegan a mi corazon, tus sonrisas han iluminado un dia lluvioso y sombrio en Moscu. Gracias por los videos preciosos, ellos ayudan a aclarar cosas que a menudo no puedo encontrar en ningun libro de gramatica. De cualquier manera los conectores me permitiran expresar mucho mejor lo que quiero decir. Igual y todo depende en gran parte de mi mismo. ❤❤❤

Yes, I also have a bit of trouble following BUT I would argue for speaking at a natural"speed. I'm no linguist, but seems to me that it's better to practice comprehension with "regular" speech.

Me han dicho que 'igual y' como sinónimo de 'quizás' es algo que se dice en México, como 'de pronto' en Colombia y algunos otros lugares. Pero este tema es utilísimo. Gracias por subir este video

Maura, thank you for teaching a practical Spanish lesson and not something useless like "How do you flirt with women at Spanish nightclubs?" or "How do you make a tamale?" I'm really trying to learn Spanish. You and Paulisima are very intelligent, but sometimes your lessons go off track. Please keep making lessons like this. Muchas gracias.

"tengo escogido"? You can use tener instead of haber in past participles????? Every book and every lesson has told me to use haber, not tener for present perfect. This is just another reason why I hate learning this language. No one, especially native speakers, can agree on even the basic grammar.
