The Norwegian coastline can be harsh and weather-beaten, yet also idyllic. In the summer of 2023, we embarked on a three-day adventure in the archipelago of Trøndelag.

Absolutely stunning video Mads, 👏👏👏…one of your best ones yet 👍 I’m amazed, 😳 is there no end to your talents?..spearfishing now 🤷🏻‍♂️?? Great job, you won’t get a fresher meal than that. Fantastic scenery, you have a wonderful outdoor playground there, looks beautiful 😍 I knew as soon as I saw the rocky shoreline that you would be using your Allak, great tents ⛺️👍 I have no idea how you stand that cold though 🥶🥶🥶! Keep well my friend 🙏

Colin my dear friend 🤗 Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. I’ve been going on trips like this for many years but never documented it. It’s fantastic to catch and cook what you can find in the ocean, and spearfishing makes it even more exciting. The Allak was the perfect tent for this trip. It would be hard to pitch a tunnel tent on the rocks ⛺️ Hope you had an amazing Christmas. Enjoy New Year’s Eve 🎆 /Mads

Hi Mads, hope you’re well my friend. I’m just catching up with your films, the KZfaq algorithm decided I didn’t want notified of your new movies. This is absolutely stunning scenery, very like Scotland’s west coast. It was all the same kingdom at one time of course. Fantastic film.

I’m glad to hear from you again, Dougie 😊 This was a short adventure we took last summer. The coastline is very beautiful. I could spend weeks on the islands listening to the seagulls and the waves rolling in. Hope you are doing well my friend 😊

Det er umulig å ikke bli sittende å analysere filmene dine fra et filmskaper perspektiv. Måten du bruker klippene dine til å lede oss videre i historien, når og hvor du klipper, musikken du underbygger stemningen med…. Helt mesterlig og jeg tar meg i å se opp igjen deler av video for å lære. Helt fantastisk bra laget. Virkelig vekket eventyrlysten i meg. Takk for nok en utsøkt produksjon. Dette var en svært hyggelig melding å lese, Thomas. Takk for det. Jeg forsøker å klippe filmene relativt hardt. Startet med en film som var 60 min, men endte opp med 20 min etter en del justeringer. Det er mye hygge i god mat, så da blir det litt kokkelering fra tid til annen, men nei, på ingen måte en kokk. Takker uansett for komplimentet 😊 Riktig så godt nyttår🎆

Flott film. Deilig å høre måkene, blir sommerstemning av sånt. Gøy å se deg strikker. Jeg strikker også, sokker og votter uten mønster fikser jeg godt. Varme votter er et sikkert sjekketriks....😅

Takk, Stein-Evert 😊 Det blir skikkelig fint med sommer igjen, men før den tid skal vi nyte vinteren ❄️ Ja, strikking er en aktivitet jeg bedriver når jeg skal slå i hjel et par timer i teltet.

Takk for det, Kjetil. Jeg har gått over til norsk nå. Det forble suboptimalt å forsøke å bake inn litt engelsk her og der. Må bare bruke litt tid på teksting, men det er uproblematisk. Har du noen spennende turer planlagt for 2024?

This is like a documentary that you see on television! Excellent filming with excellent content. Top marks Mads. The fish were a good catch, you say the pollock was dry, use butter and cook it gently for just a few minutes a side and it's retain moisture and not fall apart so much. I love that you do some knitting, in the UK it would be seen as feminine, to me though it's just being creative and making something useful, I bet it's relaxing. It's good to see you. I hope 2024 is your year.

Thank you for kind words, Simon 😊 I guess the pollock was over cooked, but I’ve heard that fresh fish tends to fall apart. What is your take on that? Knitting is a great activity when you spend hours and hours in the tent. I call it being self reliant☺️ Hope you’re doing well my friend. Enjoy New Year’s Eve 🎆
