In this episode of Experts react, our two amazing guests Israel Wright from U.S special forces and Cameron Fath, U.S Army Ranger, will watch and react to game-play from Battlefield 3 Comrades Paris mission. How to enter the building, what tools you need to have, how they communicate with each other, the sign signals, and how bullets react to different materials? And much more. Even though they don't understand Russian except "da" (yes), they sure understand a lot about the game and share plenty of details about real-life situations. A fun, attractive, information episode, but be warned, it ends in tragedy.

I think a part of what makes the series is having the right hosts sourced for the segments. I always enjoy coming to watch clips with Cameron and Israel because they work extremely well together, with an immense amount of flow and energy between them, and these are things that the audience can pick up on. Causing your audience to feel their energy is a recipe for success.

Fun fact with the "kicking everything in." Each and every door is a loading screen. The game won't proceed until the next area is properly rendered and the triggers are set. It's why you can't control when the door opens, but the NPC can. Other common loading screens are: elevators, very long tunnels with tons of dialogue, areas where an NPC walks in front of you extremely slowly, cutscenes, almost any area where you are moving and there are suddenly absolutely no enemies but very similar backgrounds. The only game I've played where I could "outpace the loading screen" is Final Fantasy 15, where if I moved too fast through the world, it would stop for just 3-5 seconds, a legit loading screen would pop up and then the game would continue. Another fun fact: doors are one of the hardest things for a game designer to render. It's why all doors are almost always open from the side, or push doors, VERY rare are they pull.

My father was in the military in the early 90's and they received education for nuclear explosions. It was basically "have a good look at it, because that's the last thing you'll see and lay down on your weapon facing the explosion so that the ones coming after you can use your weapon and are aware of the direction the explosion happened at"
@DickSlap
@DickSlap 2 жыл бұрын
This is the dumbest thing I ever heard. You always have chances of survival. If they teached him that then his teachers were a joke. "lie over the weapon to protect it for others" so saving a 400$ riffle is more important than his life? Not to mention that if he doesn't make it in the explosion the gun will be torn to pieces as well.. So many BS... Just curious, what country did he served for?
@Bence90ful
@Bence90ful 2 жыл бұрын
@@DickSlap I see what you mean there.. Now, I unfortunately don't have the man beside me to explain, but I'm guessing that this is for the specific case of being within 1-2 kilometers of the explosion, because as far as I know, the heat wave is enough to fry you alive at that distance. As for what country he served in, all I'm going to say is that he was very much actively deployed during the Yugoslavian wars.

That's no joke about the chem gear training day. Went in there recovering from pneumonia in basic. Spent the next 5 minutes (felt like a year) trying to breathe and find my kit in a field of kits so my flight could sit down and eat our lunch.

If either are reading, they should know that they literally could open a successful private business together. They have the necessary backgrounds, motivation and work ethic from the military, not to mention that they work very well together (at least, in what's published). I am thinking something providing back to the Armed Services or providing services to the public who are interested in information such as what's shared here. They would make great partners. Take care.

One thing I know Spetznanz are good at is run and gun they even do a lot of combat rolls. Theres a reason why little is known what they do during the cold war. One factor is they go in, take out the targets our then leave almost immediately.

Your editor fucked up when they were discussing single point focal optics. He was referring to the RDS on the AS VAL. It is a single focal optic, it projects the light onto a sheet of transparent plastic, it is from origin to apature one single point of light's movement. Your homeboy editor zoomed in on the EOTech on the F2000, which he was NOT referring to, rather the single point optic was on the weapon he was referring to moments beforehand. Holos, like EOTechs, use more than one focal point to project the reticle, they use a prism and multiple aperture windows to project the reticle in a way that it stays on point regardless of weapon sway. It's focal point is not a single point.

The one thing nobody ever forgets... Being stacked up outside the ‘confidence test facility’ (gas chamber) in full CBRN kit, move in run in a circle do lots of knees to chest and press-ups, sprint from wall to wall, then all place palms on the rear wall. Randomly 2 bods are tapped on the shoulder and made to exercise a little more before the CPL (or BDR) screams to take off your respirator. “CPL/BDR, I am (service no.), of (insert sub unit and training regiment), aspiring to join the (insert corps) as a (insert trade), CPL/BDR!” Though most people choked before they finished the first sentence as the CS reacted with the moisture in their throat, nose and eyes. Plenty threw up, plenty cried making the problem worse and only when said CPL/BDR was satisfied with the hilarity of your suffering were you pushed out of the exit and made to flap your arms like the crow that you are. Always that one guy who’s completely immune to CS effects too, hate that guy.
