Saya dari Padang, Sumbar, tempat dimana aslinya makanan rendang itu berasal. Sebagian bumbu dan cara memasaknya sudah benar. Hanya saja yg perlu diperhatikan, utk membuat rendang dg daging kira2 500 gram, itu dibutuhkan setidaknya santan dari 3 buah kelapa. Kalau santannya cukup, waktu memasaknya tunggu sampai santan itu mengeluarkan minyak. Itu butuh waktu yg cukup lama, setidaknya 2 atau 3 jam. Agar jgn gosong, api kompornya bisa dikecilkan. Rendang itu makanan enak, bahkan nomor 1 di dunia. Silahkan mencobanya, Sister.

I just found your post vid about this. First of all, I am very impressed with your efforts to make several Indonesian dishes. Also, I laugh several times every time you taste every ingredient dough you make, of course it feels strange if it isn't the final dish., the taste to be sure kind a stranges. Anyway, of course there are ingredients that you can't possibly get there because the specialty of Indonesian cuisine is clearly the variety of spices, especially those that only exist in tropical countries, which are mixed into one dish. I hope you will find and try original dishes when you visit Indonesia someday. BTW congrats for your achievement of 100K++ subs, hopefully always growing up more and more.
