Max Demian is a character from Hermann Hesse's book Demian: The Story of a Boyhood. Demian is a dark character, with no distinct gender and Emil's friend, who has his own personal moral code. The book was published in 1919. Koreans go insane for this book. BTS even did a whole album called Wings inspired by it, with the title song Blood, Sweat and Tears. Now Dreamcatcher turn the theme of the book into this powerful and awesome song called Demian.

Queen Sua’s choreography didn’t disappoint. The strut with Siyeon in the center. Dami, Dong, Yooh with the abs. Dami.. did you really have to go so hard for the rap… Siyeon and JiU’s arms. Dark blue hair Dami, light purple Handong and red hair Siyeon. Those outfits and the filming location- on point.

I don't even know how to say all I have to say, I feel like a comment won't be enough. I don't even think Sua will see this but I really want her to know she did a great job and people love her work. I feel like she perfectly captured the vibe of the song, as well as mixing it with each member style and making sure it wouldn't be too hard for them to not put them in danger during performances. The moves, the positions in the choreo, it feels like each one of them are themselves separately while still being the DEMIAN song as a group. I'm losing my words, it's just so perfect, so flawless, in ways I couldn't even imagine

I think 1st she read about the novel, then 2nd ->talk with the music producer. 3rd => ask/get for input/request from members 4=> develop the basic of whole choreo 5=> specify all details for each members 6=> revise/edit the choreo after monitor her ori idea 7 => final choreo 8 => practice with members Difficult process but a good challange for SuA to growth as choreographer. Well done result

No you don't understand how much this means to me. DEMIAN is _the_ song that successfully pulled me in to Dreamcatcher. You cannot even begin to fathom how excited I was to hear that this was going to be choreographed by Queen SuA herself. This special clip dropped when I was having one of shittiest days and I just about screamed when I saw it in my recommendations that night. I was already feeling better than I was during the day, but this skyrocketed that emotion. Especially considering the internet connection came back the moment before I noticed this had dropped. In conclusion, fav b-side (on the album) choreo'd by fav member = me not okmian

Demian is literally made for Dami. She shined more here than any of their comebacks ( except for Boca). Her stage presence in this was so insane my eyes were drawn to her the most. Also Queen Sua really deserves credit for giving us such an awesome choreography. I hope to see her choreograph one of their title tracks in the future if possible. All the girls had parts which showcased/ highlighted them. Handong has definitely had a rapid improvement in dance skills and confidence. After Dami, she drew my attention the most.

노래의 기승전결도 좋네요 싱글레어가 데미안을 만나고 난 뒤의 겪는 생각의 변화를 잘 나타낸거 같아요 특히 다미의 랩 부분에서 데미안이라는 이례적인 존재를 통해 선과 악 도대체 무엇이 옳은 것인지 고뇌하는 부분. 정교해진 알(세계)을 깨고 자신이 받아들였던 세계에 대한 의문을 갖고 미지의 세계를 탐험하겠다고 다짐하지만, 그 속에서도 싱글레어 본인도 불안과 혼돈에 둘러싸여 있기 때문에, 자신만의 세계를 깨고 나아간다는 이야기가 더 와닿게 들리는 거 같습니다 힘든 여정 속에 자신의 세계 속에 혼돈을 남기고 간 데미안의 존재는 결코 무시할 수 없게 되버렸고, 곧 데미안에 대한 집착이 되어 자신의 곁에 영원히 남아주길 원하는 마음으로 변했다... 비루한 글이지만 짧게나마 해석이랑 소견 남겨봤습니다! 항상 드림캐쳐의 음악에는 한번 더 생각해볼 주제가 많아서 좋아요 1차원적인 감정 그 이상의 의미기 담겨있고, 인간으로써 어떤 선택과 생각을 해야하는지에 대해 예술적으로 메세지를 잘 풀어놓는 실력파 걸그룹이라고 생각합니다! 오래 롱런하세요❤❤

What do I even say? WOW. Dreamcatcher always put soo much care, effort, and passion into their work. There are simply no words that can describe how insane this performance is and how tough this choreo must have been to perfect to such a level. Also the energy! It’s really reminded me of ‘Chase Me’. This is the best gift I could have gotten on the same day that I set off for my 3-day 2700km+ road trip across Europe. All I can wish myself, is a bon voyage. Thank you soo much Dreamcatcher. Мне так нравится ваша музыка! Пожалуйста, никогда не сдавайтесь! Люди добиваются успеха только тогда, когда упорствуют, и я думаю, прийдёт время, и настанет ваш момент славы. Музыка дримкатчер мне нравитая даже больше, чем блэкпинк или джиайдл, хотя они тоже замечательны. У дримкатчер вообще очень волшебная и мистическая концепция будто, и мне нравится это. I love how the choreography reflects the lyrics. For example, in the 1st verse, JiU sings "it's okay to break through your orbit" and she actually breaks into the orbit formed by the other members. Or in the chorus, when they sing "listen to my voice", the girls do those hand gestures, imitating speech.

wow, i've just got to watch the Video and i'm totally speechless. Of course I know how good Dreamcatcher is every time, but THIS..?! Not only that Demian is one of my most favourite Songs, not only of the current Album but in general and now we even have a proper choreography for it and it's THAT stunning??? Holy, SuA what did you do to us InSomnia? You sure wanna kill us, right? :D Thank you for managing and creating this awesome piece of work and showing just again what Dreamcatcher is capable of and that you are our slaying queens! 아후.... 어제 밤 부터 몇번을 반복해 봤는지 모르겠는데, 왜 이 곡이 더블 타이틀이 되지 못했나 싶었는데, 오늘 보고 또 같은 생각을 하게 된다. 개인적으론 바람아 이후 드캐 컨셉에 가장 완벽한 느낌적인 느낌 느낌. 안무와 노래 둘 다 너무 좋아. 다 좋지만 특히 난 항상 지유 광팬인데, 이번엔 다미 너무 완벽해요. 물론 지유는 언제나 사랑. 아니 다 좋아.

프리코러스의 다미님 랩이 멋지죠ㅎㅎ 특히 eyes~할 때 멋지더라구요ㅎㅎ 언클린 창법을 좋아하는 저에겐 나름 의미가 깊었답니다ㅎㅎ 비록 창법적으로 그로울링을 한 것은 아니지만요

@@sanzo213 사실 뭐 어느 창법을 특별히 좋아하고 그렇진 않은데요, 언클린-그로울링 이런 창법에서 잘 어울리게 부른다면 멋있다고 생각합니다. 다미의 랩이 데미안에서 또 잘 뽑힌 것 같고요. eye~es~!

@@zaxman5160 네 사실 다미님이 eyes를 할 때 가성대(와 피열연골)가 떨린 게 아니라서 그로울링, 언클린이 아니긴해요ㅎㅎ 그래도 다미님이 eyes할 때 데미안이라는 노래와의 어울림과는 나쁘지는 않았고 훗날 스크리밍과 그로울링을 하게 되는 세포가 될 것이라 생각해요ㅎㅎ
