That is one smart space saving drawbridge that seems to lift portion of the roadway on two prongs! I think this is an artisanal drawbridge with a movable attachment that lifts it u as if there is a huge invisible cake sitting on it!!

is the wind mill to measure the wind speed. If the wind is too strong, perhaps, for safety reasons, they won't open the bridge. Anyone know the answer?????

Most likely yes ;) . I consider the IJdoornlaanbrug (IJdoornlaanbridge) in Amsterdam to be special as well. There's no video about it as far as I can tell ;)

Schlechte Architektur, weil bei starkem Wind die Fahrbahn zu hoch in den Wind gehalten wird. Das könnte Probleme bereiten. Es hätte einfachere Lösungen gegeben.
