Gave a video like. Great to hear about Joe Gilliam. Thanks for sharing, John

That's a nice Gilliam, John. So much potential, sad story. Loved seeing the basketball cards, that's a great set.

Hey John, the Gervin poster was created by Peter Moore at Nike who was also a key guy in creating "Air Jordan". I worked with Peter at adidas for many years and he had some great stories.

I agree, the card collecting is about the memories that tie me back to the games.

Awesome cards John. That 1963 Topps Willie Mays heads up is absolutely spectacular! The color, the smile the floating head in a Mangini slab to boot. I had the Nike Costacos Bros. George Gervin “The Ice Man Cometh” in his silver sweat suit, sitting on the chair made of “ice” Another casualty of one to many rough & tumble Nerf Hoop melee’s!

Yea I certainly hope I didn’t do that. People are always impersonating me and I’m not offended. Just some good old fashioned chop busting. lol

I loved Broadstreet Jim Gilliam. He was a great QB. I like feel good stories about pro athletes going broke I could buy and sell now. Slow and steady wins the race. RIP Jim Gilliam. That cocaines will get ya. Everything in the Mangarinni collection you should "learn" to like.
