5:40 yes.. I've been shouting at people everywhere that potato( palya) is not masala .. it's masala paste is masala and that's why it's called masala dose(dosa).. 2 decades ago when i was kid an uncle in hotel said that this is why it's called masala dose.

@@vishuindia1113 Batata Bhaji, potato palya are quite same some makes it simple some adds extra things but in dosa it's smashed.. it's not about the potatoes even without that it's called masala dosa when it has red or light orange masala is rubbed.. it's plain dosa if it's just potato sabji(palya) in it.
