Philippines has spent way more than it could afford on this war. it probably hampered its economic progress and AFP modernization plan but its ok. at least we have to worry less about terrorism. oh, wait, we have to worry about china now. does the US have our back?

very true, only a very small group engage in terrorism but they get all the air time so that kinda exaggerates the situation here. but we are mostly peaceful, can't feel the war (the one that's been raging at least 30 years in the south) from where i am (Cebu).
