Yes, I agree. If it has been named as a Rajdhani Express (does not matter if it is a 'Special' train) it MUST get an equal priority as every other Rajdhani Express, BECASUE you are paying the same fare as a regular Rajdhani Express!! Indian Railways needs to improve on their PRIORITY LOGIC!!

Yes brother, same with another special train having 09008 BSL Bhiwani Spl Superfast Express have departure from bhiwani at 14.45 but it depart from the bhiwani at 19.30 aprox and have time to reach surat at 10.57 but reach at surat in the evening at 19 o clock.. total late bu 7 hour.

Tbh, I think Indian railways must install the HOG system and increase some of the wag-9 to 130kmph. So, if these locomotives get allocated to passenger trains, they don't need to experience slow travel and use of the generator car.

What you are describing is basically a WAP7. 😂 There is a tiny difference between a WAP7 and a WAG9. If you want to increase the speed of a WAG9, you will have to change its gear ratio and microprocessor control software to match that of a WAP7. Which means, it will not remain suitable for heavy goods operation anymore. 😂 The WAP7 is basically a light freight locomotive with moderate speed (most can go only up to 140 km/h and the WAP7HS version can go up to 160 km/h but its pulling power is significantly lower than a normal WAP7).

@@thetechnocrat4979 OK forget speed, but atleast it can add the HOG system, and in future if railway runs good trains like transporting butter and other such products that need continuous electricity to keep the items cool through refrigeration. So, at least this can be expected.

@@ark2264 You know what, that is a good idea! An HOG equipped WAG9 or WAG12 will be able to haul refrigerator freight wagons which carry perishable goods. That would not only save energy but also our fuel costs. And those trains will have a faster schedule due to lower complications. Great idea bro.

Railways is mostly concentrating on usage of MU trains (Vande bharat) and mostly is planning to run most of the trains on this system in coming future, as they have better suspension and High speed capable coaches and no locomotive required (exept for Vande Sadharan) and hence doesn't feel the need of passenger locomotives to be produced currently, at the same time they also are concentrating on freight corridors and electrifying India 100%, and hence there is not even enough budget to manufacture these locomotives even if they are willing to, but sadly they didn't realise that just electrifying the railways and adding new VB won't increase the efficiency of the railway system, and new we face the consequences of having poorly maintained ICF trains, overcrowded sleeper class trains (thanks to making 80% of the train AC coaches and leaving behind 4 sleeper coaches, hence getting reservation is also a pain) and having speed degraded trains because of wag 9 and wag 5 hauling passenger trains due to no passenger electric locomotives available. Edit: I travel in the SWR zone of the railways (for those who don't know this zone used to be a diesal dominated route which got recently electrified) here our trains used to be one of the most punctual zones in India and also has very well maintained coaches. That was until they completed electrification, we have two locomotive sheds i.e KJM and UBL which together has 90+ diesal passenger locomotives and 120+ diesal goods locomotives and were running the trains really efficiently as diesals aren't affected by gradients and curves of our SWRs rough and tough terrain, now they changed atleast 50 trains link to electric link for their so called "O% Carbon emission", and the electricic locomotives allotted to our zone was 20 wap7s and 60 wag9s, initially the wap 7s hauled passenger trains but fell short, hence most of the trains got wag 9s, and now the trains that raced against time with 110kmh speeds and were always punctual, now crawl at speeds of 85kmh and struggle at the climbs of gradients (thanks to electric locos low traction on slopes) and are delayed daily by 4-6 hours😔 And lhb trains run with generators regardless as we don't have HOG equipped locos and all of the capable and highly efficient diesals that had been always punctual and high efficiency are lying rotting in the sheds to "save diesals" and now we are using 2 phase electricity here due to shortage of electricity for which they are deciding on building more coal powerplants (to save diesal at the cost of polluting 2x more) and due to which wap 5 can't run in our zone as they are only built for 3 phase, and nowhere is the transformation of our efficient and clean swr to a unreliable and pathetic railway system 😭 I just hope railways realise their blunders soon 🙏
