Special Rolled Pancake for Indonesia’s Independence Day

Happy Independence Day Indonesia …!
In this month of our Indonesia independence, here we have special recipe with the glorious Red and White color to celebrate our beloved country.
This is one of the household’s favorite menu, it’s easy to make, with affordable ingredients, and sure, with such a luxury result.
So, it’s perfect for home snacks, or even for business ideas.
Well, the overall recipe is pretty much similar with our previous Indonesian Rolled Pancake ( • Dadar Gulung Tanpa Tel... ). I really love this recipe which is more affordable by removing the eggs and coconut milk. Then by removing the coconut milk, this one has more durability and not prone to stale.
And even though it’s cheaper, its taste is not something that you need to worried about, it’s great for sure.
So, for those who wish to make it, here’s the recipe, hopefully it’s useful.
Ingredients
* 400 gr of Bread flour;
* 30 gr or about 2 tablespoons Tapioca flour;
* 30 ml or about 6 tablespoons of Oil;
* ½ tsp Salt;
* About 1000 ml of Lukewarm water;
* ½ tsp Vanilla Powder (optional);
* Red Chili Food Coloring, to taste.
Ingredients for the Filling (Coconut Filling)
* 300 gr or about ¾ of large-sized young coconut (but not too young), grated;
* 120 - 140 g of Sugar, suit to taste;
* 100 ml or about a half cup of Water;
* ½ tsp Fine Salt;
* ½ tsp Vanilla Powder.
// Note: for the filling, you can add cheddar cheese, optional.

Additional Note
// To ensure that the rose petals stick together perfectly, the wrap should be filled immediately after it has been prepared and the roses formed one by one. If the wrap is cold, the petals become prone to dried away and difficult to stick when formed into a Rose.
// The Tapioca Flour can be omitted; omitting tapioca flour reduces the water dose by about 50 ml. The use of the tapioca flour is to make the rolled pancake skin more flexible, supple, and with more volume (a little thicker). So, if you prefer a thinner texture, skip it.
// Without coconut milk in its ingredients and by cooking the coconut filling completely dry, then this rolled pancake can last up to 2 nights and 3 days. But make sure to store it in an air-conditioned room and wrap the cake in a closed container. So, if the weather is hot, it usually only lasts 2 days. If you put it in the fridge, it can last even longer, about 5 to 7 days.
