I'm at the very end of the trailer, the part about if I met the right woman, would I give up pinball. I said "Absolutely not!." That part was filmed at PAPA9, a pinball tournament facility in Pittsburgh. This film was three years or so in the making, and glad to see it finally out there. Can't wait for the dvd!

I am a huge pinball fan and have been for over 25 years. Looking forward to getting this.

Even though the "golden age" (?) for pinball was probably the 70's (?), playing pinball was a big part of me growing up as a kid in the 80's. All my favorites are from that era, like WHIRLWIND!

The two guys at the end of the trailer are great.... "If you met the right woman, would you give up pinball for her?" "I guess it would depend on what type of woman it is...." Brilliant! (My son is in the film too, I can't wait to see it)

Well, this documentary is a bit dated now, but still was fun to watch. Guess what. Pinball is back! Multiple manufacturers, barcades all over the place, and tournaments are larger now than ever. Guess everything turned ok.

I have a Demolition Man Pinball at home. It´s alot of fun to play on this thing with your friends!

@fireofice87 Of course not, but there's not much alternative for most of us. We either have to shell out thousands (not including shipping) to buy one or drive hundreds of miles to play one on location (and most likely the machine is in disrepair). The PC simulations helped me discover and appreciate many pinball games.

Awesome movie - saw on plane yesterday - great if you care about pinball - unbelievable if you do.

I'm pretty new as a pinball hobbyist (though I've played for about 35 years). That said, I know or have met several people in this trailer. I guess I'm one of 'em! :-)

Special is right. If you want to turn someone on to pinball don't have them watch this. I've made that mistake before. It's a trip to Dorkville. The historical sections are great but I think most people would be put off by the players.

Honestly I don't like this documentary very much. The filmmakers seem to have come to the subject with some kind of bias and tend to only follow around the more socially unique characters, all the while every background is filled with what appear to be very well-adjusted players. And it has been a few years since I saw it so I can't remember the name of the kind of nerdy guy who was doing a lot to try to keep pinball going. He could have been a hero in the film, but instead there are tons of totally unnecessary shots edited in to make him appear to be a total social reject (at one point, it shows a long shot of him eating a sandwich alone, for no real reason). I get that these characters make the documentary more compelling for your average viewer, but I will have to leave it that I am still looking for the definitive pinball documentary.

Saw it: 9.5/10

Pinball for the PC doesn't even match up to the feel of a machine between your hands.

So has Lyman Sheats retired? People are calling him the best player ever but recently its been Kevin Erwin winning everything. Sheats doesn't even place.
