I wanted to thank everyone for the amazing comments! Some of you asked about my neck. I just had major facial reconstructive surgery a few months ago due to the Goldenhar. They put a trake in for a few months while i heal because of swelling in my neck and i have difficult airway. I actually get my trake out in a few weeks!

When her dad said he walked around with his head held high because that is his daughter and he loved her, I teared up. I absolutely LOVE this family.

Having only met one person with Goldenhar Syndrome, I found Sara's interview quite interesting. Her family support is just incredible and I am so glad that her dream to be a mother was realized. I found Roger to be a very caring person and her son and daughter taking life in stride. What a beautiful family. Be blessed.

Hi Sara. You have much to be proud about. I particularly enjoyed how when Chris asked your son if you were a good mom he answered Yes without hesitation.

Wow, as a blind person myself I can definitely relate to some of what she says. Especially when you're out with someone they want to talk to the other person as if you're not there I want to jump up and throw myself at them and say hey I'm right here hello, but I know that's not the right thing to do the best thing to do is educate the ignorant folks and I'm not saying that in a bad way it's just uneducated people just grind my gears because they don't see the person they see the disability and that's sickening get with it people we're All in this together here's another one, when you're at the store by yourself which I've been many a Time when you're standing at the counter, needing help from a clerk or a cashier or customer service if any kind they ignore you like you're not there. Do you have any idea how humiliating that is? But I have adapted she's got some good parents behind her that's really awesome so did I. That's a good thing have a good supportive family behind you because if you don't there's where the trouble lies. Go Sarah do what you do do what works for you I am.

Sara and her husband make a great couple! What beautiful children they have together. And I'm thankful that Sara was fortunate to have such amazing parents growing up. Thank you Sara for sharing your story with us! (*This is random but, for some reason your father reminds me of an actor(?) or somebody I've seen on TV.) Hugs from Jacksonville, FL! 💖

My mom had spina bifida and my sister and I always talk about how we would love to hear from other people who grew up with a mother or parent who had a disability, but really I like to call it a gift. I truly believe my mother was able to teach me things about life that most kids do not learn. She made me a better person. This woman and her family are amazing!

Hi Sara's kids!! If u are reading this:) Im so thankful that you guys shared your story. I have a shared experience of growing up with a mom in and out of the hospital and a dad that rambles (and is KING of getting peoples buttons pushed:) I'm 19 years old now. I am grateful for EVERYTHING(honestly) and gained insight on life through having to be very independent as a kid. I think something that this channel highlights so beautifully is YES your mom is just like everyone else BECAUSE WE ARE ALL SO MIRACULOUSLY DIFFERENT. That doesn't mean that feeling out of place should be normal. sometimes it is hard and we need help:) THATS what we are doing here; creating awareness, breaking down walls, and spreading community. It does take time and work to overcome certain challenges, but LOVE shows us to stay awake during those challenges and find the magic in your soul ngl. EMPATHY is a huge example of the love that is to be gained from vulnerable situations. You kids are awesome and I would love to be your friend. MUSIC is amazing... its my bridge to spiritually. I also listen to rock n roll, just like my pa. So rock on people

What a lovely family! Also how brave of Alison to be in front of the camera, she did a great job even though she was nervous.
