Hi guys, in today's video I did a very detailed review of the world's most popular serum, L'oreal Revitalift 1,5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I also compared the USA version of the serum with the version that is sold in the European market, because there is a big difference. I also expressed my opinion on the controversial buffering ingredient that both the USA and European versions have, and that is HEPES (HydroxyEthyl Piperazine Ethane Sulfonic acid). Does it cause free radical damage? Is this serum worth giving 18$ for?

if you search for middle east, you'll find Loreal Hylaroun Expert range for hylarounic serum, cream etc. I wonder why they have different name but same packaging, in middle eastern countries they have same 1.5% hylarounic acid serum. I hope they are the exact same as revitalift and just different in name.

The L'Oreal replumping gel wash in this range is a great accompaniment cleanser to add to this routine :)

great review! thank you for making this video. i had the american version of this serum in my cabinet and decided to try it. i find it does the job but i grew a bit suspicious because of the buffering agent. research is so important regarding active ingredients and components. if there’s no real research that proves the buffering agent harms the skin, than we should criticize the serum for it’s other qualities. i’m gonna finish this bottle and will definitely try the ordinary one next. found my new skincare expert to trust

The serum burnt your face because it has vitamin c in it. I would still go with the L'Oreal as they have a very small weight hyaluronic acid which is able to penetrate deep in the skin. I don't believe the ordinary has a low enough molecular weight to penetrate the skin. Give it 4-8 weeks to really see a benefit tho, especially If your doing retinol :).

Those are 2 different products from 2 different lines. The filler (purple bottle) is from there latest revitalift filler collection. The clear bottle is from the older collection of Revitalift. I'm in Canada and have access to both but am going with the revitalift filler as its supposed to havebsmaller hyaluronic acid particles which should rest inside the skin. If this doesnt give me skin a little extra plump then I'll have to go with this other brand that has their own patented (small molecule weight)hyaluronic acid as it's been shown to penetrate and build up deep in the skin.

I'm pretty sure L'Oreal has a patent for their specific HA, I believe It's 500 daltons. TBH I just make all my own HA serums, I'm just trying to revitalift filler eye cream for a wrinkle I have under one eye lol. I buy powdered hyaluronic acid and make my own body serum as well as personal/sex lube with it. I'm gonna have to search for a supplier of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid so I can add it to my high weight HA powder. I've bought it before off eBay but I don't think the molecular weight was small enough to penetrate my skin. It honestly only takes 2 mins to make a months supply and I even sell it to friends. If you want a recipe just lmk

I am in USA, I was searching to see if anyone else had the same results as me.. I have major acne scarring, large pores, and dry LOOKING skin, but not dry skin (that make sense) im 33, and i literally noticed results overnight.. it is frikkin crazy! I feel like i look 3 years younger but with less scarring..

HEPES is also used in L’Oréal owned Lancôme Advanced Génifique. HEPES on human skin has exfoliating properties. You will find HEPES in L’Oréal owned Skinceuticals.

Yes you can use it if you have oily skin, I just wouldn't recommend it if you have sensitive skin because the purple version does have fragrance. You can use it both in the morning and evening, buy I prefer using serums at night. 🙂

European L’Oréal products are WAY better!!!! I couldn’t even find their same perfume in America. The American version of L’Oréal is straight trash !! Sorry!!
