That is an amazing van! I have fond memories of riding in my family's conversion van all over Washington State, British Columbia and up and down the west coast! Ours was a 1983 Dodge 3/4 ton LRP, and 13" TV/VCR was the hot technology! That van took my aunt and uncle and cousins from WA State to WV and back too!

Anthony, I heard you mention KYB shocks. I was employed by KYB in sales positions for 11 years. It’s a great company making a great product. The shocks you chose are excellent for that van. They are an upgrade over the OE style, really add control for the extra weight of the van with the conversion, even when you tow with it, but they don’t degrade the ride quality. Glad you had a good experience with them.

I remember when I was a teenager, my grandfather had a 1990 GMC Vandora explorer with custom-made runningboards. He had a TV and VCR and video game player set up inside along with two coolers in the back and a CB upfront connected to a loud speaker under the hood so you can use that as a PA system as well. We went everywhere in that thing. All up and down the East Coast especially from New Jersey to South Carolina every summer since that’s where he, my aunt and uncle and my mother was from. Fast forward, now I’m almost 50 years old and I want one for my family and kids so we can start traveling as well instead of renting minivans and SUVs, I want something big like this so we can all be comfortable and have an awesome ride without a whole bunch of crazy rental fees and other nonsense.

If I had the extra money right now this fella would be in my driveway. It so nice and this is the color iv always wanted on one! One day I’m get done Money saved up and I’m buy a vehicle from u. Ur so honest and serious when it comes to what ur selling. I was diagnosed with cancer in February and have missed a lot of work and will miss a lot for the next year until all the treatments are done but soon as I get bsck in my feet I will be calling u.

The Van is perfect, the only thing I would do if I owned it would be to upgrade the entertainment & sound system to Bluetooth & Wi-Fi capabilities because that technology really wasn't in vehicles in 2007.

Those tires are better than all season, they're "all weather". Approved as winter tires in Canada but with a rubber compound that won't wear prematurely in the warm weather.

nice van. someday I'll get one with AWD. my stepdad got mid 1990s vandura. i think savana is longer than vandura. some people nowadays get sprinter vans.

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Express Conversion Van 5.3 1500 that is almost like yours. Love the dual side barn doors they really come in handy. I have around 91k on mine and I am the second owner. Mine is as clean as yours and I live in the rust belt of Chicago. I get asked all the time if I want to sell mine and I will never sell it. I pull my 1969 Yellowstone Camper that weighs around 4500lbs and I do not feel it behind me. Pulling my Camper I get about 12 mpg, city driving about 14 to 15 mpg and highway 16 to 17 mpg. These are solid vans and the 5.3 are great. Only problem is if your oil pressure is low 99% of the time it's the screen in the oil pressure unit is clogged and with having the dog house its a easy change since it sit on the back of the engine.

Man this thing is beautiful 🤩….. I remember when these were so common, my mom had 2 junker Dodge conversation vans lol. It’s weird how the revolution of crap small “suvs” have killed almanac everything. It’s sad that we will never have vehicles like this again 😵‍💫😵‍💫

@@specialtymotorcars I live in south Georgia ( brooks county) I dont see many of those vans around here my cousin had one the suspension on those vans are wonderful they have so much more room and the seats are so comfortable if I didn't live so far away I'd would like to drive the one you have I love a van like that I'd rather have a van than an SUV

Shit I just sent one of those to the scrap yard. I was trying to sell it for 6 months. I scrapped it, waited a week so I knew it was destroyed, and reported it stolen and got the insurance money. I paid $900 I had it for sale for $3500 and insurance gave me $8k the only issue was the driver seat was ripped and the vinyl top was peeling a little

Im looking for a new one I had a 2005 Chevy Express Southern Comfort and really didnt have many problems until I got to 60,000 miles. My paint started flaking off in big chips and I was told it was because of a cheap primer. I ended up putting over 7,000 in front end work. Bought it in 10/2004 brand new & in March 05 my a/c wouldn't work. I used it as my wheelchair accessible van by putting a lift in it, I even had my tow package welded on for the lift I had to put my chair on back. I'm looking for a 9 passenger one now.

I rather 153, 000 miles and under $5000. Bought a 81' dodge with 100, 000 miles for 1200 dollars ,used, got rebuilt in 2010 at 250,000 miles! ( cause i neglected radiator) lasted from 95' to 2010! Good body, customized it 4 peanuts!

What you had was a time capsule. Beautiful inside and out. The only thing that should be changed is that cable under that navigation screen. It looks like an old Apple iPod/iPhone connector. If it just plugs in, disconnect it and toss it. Apple has long since replaced those big connectors with smaller ones…. Well, that’s what the new owner is doing and probably updating all the electronics too…. Great video though

The color is the main reason I wouldn't want it. There are at least 8 of these same color same wheels within 20 miles of me. I live the van but the color is not happening. Neither is silver and black. I'm in Oakland and not a raiders fan. 😕

All those multiple pin charging ports in the back and the white wire under the radio are for very old iPods... Definitely not useful anymore but you have multiple cigarette lighter connections in the cabin to compensate

I'd like to see Toyota make a van like that. Sure, they make the Alphard, which is very fancy, but they don't sell it in the US. There is something about old-school American luxury that no foreign automaker can quite match.

Anthony, that fake vent likely works as a vortex generator. You'll see vortex generators on motor homes, but they will put three or four on each side arranged vertically.

What is the benefit of vortex generators? I would have thought that was undesirable

@@WonderingWildWanderingRose Simply put, air tends to wrap around the back of a moving vehicle and then spin, leaving behind dirt. That's why the rear hatch will always be dirtier than the sides of a van or SUV. Vortex generators break up that airflow.
