I’m a first time mom to an 11 month old. I imagine photo to real object matching will likely be the first academic Montessori activity for him? Would you advise introducing at random times to see if he is ready or is there a better cue to look for? He enjoys his object permanence box, ball tracker, opening/closing containers and will do some posting activities and rings on a base. Are there other formal shelf activities to introduce or resources that lay out suggestions for this age?

For little ones, lots of household activities, informal activities... they do not have so much patience for formal presentations.
