What ypu said about learning is so true. I may go out and not catch much but I'll try a new approach to the weather or area. Sometimes I'll try a new technique. Whether I catch fish or not I'm learning and can put that new knowledge in my pocket for another day.

Hey Brian, great video. I really like the "how to" approach of your videos. I have a "novice" question......How, does one fishing the surf....find the "second gut" ? Do you have any videos, explaining the surf depths ? Thanks in advance !

when you walk out into the surf, pay attention to the water depth. when you first walk in and it starts getting deep, that’s the first gut. Once it starts to get shallow again. That means you’re walking up to the first sandbar. once it starts to get deep again. you’ll be in the second gut. most fish can be caught in the second gut, so no need to go any further. 🤙🏼

I always check the weather app, and make sure it’s not too windy. i also check the 61st pier cam to see what the water clarity is looking like. 🤙🏼

That would cost you about $160 a month and we would have to talk about the $2000 for onetime life membership which I'm sure I could work with you on
