I just sent my mini SE swimming. Tempted to get the 4K which is around $240 now on sale just today.

Battery communication failed from water. Compass, camera, controller video feed still works. Will not show battery life, so that part on board burnt out, battery dry. It was in water about 3 feet deep and kept recording but it did short and shut off after about 30 seconds. I need to upload that video. I got the footage. I don't think I will try to replace the board. So much of it looks workable like the motors.... Perhaps I could make a tiny plane out of them.

The best is as you said depended on what you want out of a Drone, the footage you shows seem awesome to me with this Specta drone and great price range. Though I started with a toy drone about 8 weeks ago, about a week later bought the Dji Mini 2 SE because that toy drone was awful and since did some research and felt the price was right for the 2 SE, while this really got me into drone's I really was missing some feature's like tracking, waypoints etc. And since 2 weeks I have the 4Pro and it's awesome. But keeping a eye on what Specta will continue to deliver.

How do you compare this to the fimi v3? What one in your opinion is better and for what reason or reason?. Your reviews are great.

I haven’t flown v3 yet but I like the camera and user interface on this more than the v2

@HalfChrome OH ok. The fimi v3 is 350$. I know that, but they also offer 50$ off so it winds up being similar in price. Not sure of the features or differences.

@timothypope5300 it will have follow me. That is the biggest advantage. Camera and usability will be slightly inferior.

Hi Jack, My Specta mini came in today....what app do they use for android ?....the box said for iPhone but there is a Android cable included.

HUGE issue! You stated quite late in the video (and quickly with an overdub) that there is no IOS app for this drone! That's a no go for a large population of potential customers. Also, there is no mention of this on their Amazon listing - misleading at best! WTF?
