How vital do you think it is that children learning how to speak see the shape of your mouth moving? All of the videos of SLPs I've seen put so much emphasis on what their mouth is doing.

Wendy, great question. I think it is very vital for the learner to see the oral motor movements and facial expressions of the therapist.

Thank you for your comment, but at the time this video was taken, it was a requirement of the CDC for all essential workers in healthcare to be wearing a mask. We applaud our team in putting the safety of our clients first.
