My Service experience in Chandigarh was amazing. And Good to know about people who are dropping the plans to buy as it will make this bike a little but less common on roads. Btw i am super happy with my purchase coming from Honda and Yahama family.

Dropping the bike in the service center explains how incompetent the service setup /service personnel are. if you drop it tank can easily cost 25-40K 🙂tat too with a imported name/badge Oil leaking out clutch rod can mean poor qualiy oil seal or poor assembly process and not fool proof design.

Please clean and inspect the fuel cap and the neck of the tank, i observed dead insects sticking on the mouth of the tank during refuel after my ride on the highway, if it falls inside it could damage the fuel injection system over time. It is a design flaw

that metal clinking sound probably was the radiatior, you will notice the same after turning off the engine too provided you heat it up that much

Just wanted to give a comparison. I went to the Service Centre in Kukatpally, Hyderabad 3 times for different issues. Each time they were really great about it. They have parts available like rearview mirror and the lever we use to shift gears with. In short, your mileage may vary depending on the service center, so if possible talk to other Triumph owners in your city.

Got a good service experience at One Triumph Gurgaon, Haryana. Also mechanics had the knowledge about the machine, unlike my previous vehicle mechanics (fz25).

The heating issue will be there cause it's a 400cc and it depends on the climate. They have solved your problem then what is the issue.

The 13 day service interval and lack of spares is atrocious - but the icing on the cake is how the so called authorised service personnel managed to drop one of the lightest bikes in the market. The bikes themselves are good but this pathetic state of service is a deal breaker. Might as well pay more and go for KTM, atleast there are many competing dealerships so chances of finding a good service centre dramatically improve, not to forget widely available spares.

I am also getting the "tak tak tak" sound when my speed 400 is stopped. Once the bike had fallen on the ground left side mildly. ( while it was standing in parking area ) . So, the gear lever is a bit bent, service centre said they would replace the gear shifter ( lever ). Do i need to ask them to check any other part ? My first servicing is not done yet ( 190 kms only run ).

I am planning to buy moto torque crash guard i wanted to ask if they provide an extra bolt with the crash guard for the third joint in the bike frame because if we use the stock bolt then it will be unsafe

6:05 No way, they definitely took it for a ride for whatever reason and then it fell somewhere and then told you all that nonsense. If I were you, I would not have accepted the bike back at all and forced them to give back with everything made proper first.

is the rear disc brake of the speed 400 working properly? i am currently facing an small issue regarding this . will the disc brake becomes better after a couple of weeks of riding or is it a flaw in the new speed 400?
