I'm very excited to finally be bringing you all some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet competitive battling content, and don't worry Pokemon Showdown will also be coming. I've been really enjoying myself playing Scarlet and Violet despite their many flaws and will also be posting more singles and doubles content in the near future! The way i named it EXACTLY THAT. When i came across Glimmet in the cave beside the Psychic gym town. I put it on my team and took it to the Elite 4. Once i fought Geeta and saw that Glimmora was her signature pokemon i changed the nickname to that after i beat her 💀. I’m so glad that Glimmora is being called Geeta’s wig by all the gays.

QOTD: Tera Ice Blissey with serene grace blizzard for freezes! Next to abomasnow it will make the blizzard 100% accurate and now snow boosts ice type pokemon's defense which was blissey's biggest weakness. You could further combo with electric/grassy seed and pincurchin/arboliva to make blissey even more unkillable.

Whenever you decide to do doubles/VGC, I would love to see a self-proc Weakness Policy + Electromorphosis Bellibolt. There's plenty of mons that have Trickroom + Bulldoze which is what I was doing to set it up, but maybe there's a better way I'm not thinking of. Also, Electric Surge Pincurchin can come in, set terrain, and Sucker Punch Bellibolt to proc it's ability. The Discharges are scaryyyyyy (but 100% hard walled by like... any ground type cause Muddy Water do be missin...). Very excited for the gen IX content!

I'd like to see Farigaraf's cud chew ability put to use, maybe by using Polteageist's teatime move to make Farigaraf eat it's pinch berry early, that way it can boost a stat twice.

Bug is usually a bad tera type but I stand by it being actually pretty good on Tyranitar. It lets it resist its weaknesses to fighting, grass and ground and makes it neutral to its other weaknesses, and it can hit every type that is super effective against bug with its own super effective stab rock moves or Earthquake. Call me a fool, but I love my dumb bug dinosaur.

QOTD: Palafin + Armarouge/Ceruledge + Flamigo. Palafin Flip Turns onto Armarouge/Ceruledge, procking both WP and Weak Armor, and Flamigo comes in to copy all of the boosts. Maybe add Indeedee to use Expanding Force shenanigans with Armarouge.

QOTD: Klawf Anger Shell with Sitrus berry, Endure + ally with a two hit move and EVs specifically to put Klawf under half HP after the first hit, trigger Sitrus berry and cause a second Anger Shell trigger on the second hit. Quick guard and heal pulse on ally are honorable mentions to protect from priority revenge kills and get Klawf above 50% hp again. As per usual this video's strategy is awesome, I've been using Espathra and it is one of my favorite pokemon from this gen for its design and how powerful it is. You never disappoint, Weedle.

Dudunsparce is really cool, Scarf (or Trick Room) Hyper Drill breaks through blocking moves like Protect or Spiky Shield and also removes the protection for your teammate. This even includes removing Wide Guard, shit is crazy. It's also got a scary Boomburst option, so the opponent has to respect this thing. Definitely more of a Doubles/VGC mon than a 1v1 option, but I really like the upgrade they gifted Dunsparce this generation. The problem is that Ghost is kind of the dominant typing in online right now. Flutter Mane, Gholdengo, and Dragapult are everywhere, it feels like, and you basically can't do anything to them. At least Flutter Mane can't show up in ranked.

This is probably an idiotic idea but it might be interesting to see a strat where you use Explosion/Self Destruct strat utilizing Revival Blessing Pawmot and Leppa Berry. The other idea I had might be interesting, use Tinkatunk's signature ability in doubles, and use Telepathy Oranguru with Instruct. The drawback to the signature move is you can't use it twice, but Instruct ignores this rule. Love your content!

I really like Espathra's other ability Opportunist, I thought it could be fun to see it used, especially in doubles (I hope you'll be doing doubles again they're my favorites) Otherwise they're like plenty new items I swear they made to counter your strategies (like the copying leaf and such), maybe you could turn them into something really fun ? QOTD: I would love to see you do the tatsugiri + dondozo strat in doubles, but with a heat Weedle twist. Maybe tera into a type that’s easy to get the weakness policy activation on, you could use toxic orb tatsugiri to make it die in dozo’s mouth so you can bring in something else. I want to see you utilize Mabosstiff and Jaw Lock strategies. Mabosstif has an impressive support movepool and abilities that hinge around switching, either for you or your opponent, but he also has an 80 BP damaging attack that prevents the user from switching out. In doubles battles and VGC, this is incredible turn compression and can be followed up with attacks boosted by his excellent support movepool, or followed up by crippling the opponent to generate free turns since they can't switch out. Viable moves include: Charm, Fake Tears, Helping Hand, Snarl, and Taunt.

I thought about using a bulky Pokemon with Tera Ghost with Curse. To use it as normal setup move at the beginning and then Tera Ghost by the end of the match to kill the opponents. Garganacl could be a good candidate, it even has Recover and synergizes well with Tera Ghost xD
