Adam checks the speed of the doggies racing off the bus this morning with the speed gun. They’re fast! Quick to get into the action!
Paddock races are a little harder to clock, we’ve got to trial a little more where is the best place to stand to get a sample of some of the speeds.
Minnie the Cocker Spaniel gets in lots of cuddles, then it’s time to let Uncle Luke know it’s time to get the motorbike going.
Bandit makes a late entrance. His farm trips now include late check outs.
Wednesday’s pack played hide n seek in the bush today.
We had some thoughts on who might be a front runner to find Luke first.
Obviously Bandit was a favourite, he already knew the game. Different tree, but he knew what he was looking for.
Spartacus the Vizsla is on the team, so is Ernie the Beagle, Lily the Wolfhound X and Ralph the German Short Haired Pointer. They all were very apt at using their noses. But all very fast past the treasure!
I won’t give it entirely away. BUT … there was one very smart doggy just sitting silently on the bank looking directly at Luke like “He’s right there guys.” And then the second dog to find him, was the first to try and save him out of the tree!
The dogs loved it.
Luke and Jason have some funny ideas for next week to make it a little harder, personally I can’t wait to see it. Something about military camouflage?? 🤔🙈🤣
Luke and Jason check in with Lucy and her puppies at lunch time.
After lunch the pool pawty is next level. Jed is eating his splashes, Buddy is working on his stroke, Hera, Sparty and Zara save Luke, Minnie jumps into Luke’s arms … the fun is endless… it’s a favourite part of the day!
It’s day 2 for YoYo with his daycare pack introductions. Today he met Wednesday’s pack. On lead in the calm of the afternoon.
Luke discusses what training YoYo has accomplished to get to this point. What number of hours with a qualified trainer he has undergone. The number is quite significant, but we thought you might find it interesting, and YoYo still has another month of training to go to get him ‘farm dog’ ready.
The shelter boys have achieved so much to date, they’ve worked so incredibly hard. Well done Bobby, Freddo, Conrad and YoYo.
