Ram should be connected in slot 2 and 4 to run in dual channel, your ram is running with half bandwidth and a single channel because you've connected them both in slots 3 and 4

you need to put another ramstick to support dual channel, if you're motherboards supports dual channeling then when you will add another ram, it will automatically switch to dual channel@@manoranjandas509

Good decision .. I already used SSD to boost up speed .. I recommend to all do not waste you money on new hardware ... SSD really can boost speed to 90 percent . My login time in 7-8 second Window installation time 3.5 minutes from usb hdd

I have an old 2006 model Acer Aspire A9324 desktop pc powered by AMD Athlon 64 processor the hard drive is not functioning as it is having bad sectors.I want to change the old hard drive with SSD hard drive.I would like to know whether the mother board support SSD hard drive.

All motherboard with a sata port are capable to run ssd. But sata 3 port are required for maximum performance. overall if your laptop model has a sata port then u can see the difference between hdd and ssd with windows installed on it. And feel the snappy experience.

SSD is a hard disk, it doesn't require any software. Windows 10 64 bit takes 20 gb space on your hard disk.

Yes you can use ssd instead of hdd and definitely it become much faster. Try to use ssd having D-RAM support for installing windows, like Crucial mx500 ssd. After that you can use compatible ram to upgrade laptop its maximum ram capacity. Check ram generation, ram speed (mhz), and maximum ram capacity that can accommodate. Use 8gb+8gb if the ram capacity is 16gb (that we call dual channel)

Hi, I want to know How SSD and HDD work together in a PC. in recent days i notice people are building the PC's with SSD and HDD together, SSD for OS and Applications and HDD for storage, Usually as per my understanding, SSD Will act as a Flash drive which is plug and play, where if we power ON or OFF it will take seconds to execute, in this case how HDD (Secondary Drive) will power off ? usually HDD will take good time than SSD so it may lead to HDD crash in long run !? or do we need to perform any config in bios ?

You can literally plug those two in and you are good to go. No config in the bios. The secondary drive will turn off with the PC itself

Whether the computer is old or new, the utilisation of hdd will always be 100 percent where in ssd it utilizes upto 80 percent max that makes the difference.

I think u can use it simultaneously however all the main softwares of the computer like OS and drivers etc will be installed in SSD while HDD will be used mainly for storage of videos pictures etc.
