My crap cost me $375 same freaking finish. I was nervous to buy it at a cheap price due to the strength of it. I live in Orlando and the sun it’s cook it during the day so I was scare it was a fake. But I’m in love with a new honey comb carbon fiber design that are starting to hit the streets. Seen it on a M3. Your car looks beautiful man.

Thanks! Carbon fiber in general gets tore up by the sun, so no matter what it really needs to be protected.

Looks awesome J! Maybe it's about time to update the outro photo what with some of the changes you have done? :) I wonder how the carbon fiber would look on moonlight white, I think it would look decent. More of a contrast, rather than the slight clash like you mentioned (grey/black).

I think the CF and white looks great! I might have to update the photo-although the spoiler is the only thing different-I suppose splitters too but those might be coming off lol

I got the high kick M3 style but having issues with my sides staying down. Any tips?

Remove it and heat it up a bit to see if you can manipulate it very slightly. When you add tape to install, tape it down with painters tape. See if that allows it to cure in place

Man I just ordered moss boiler from jalisco_carbonfiber carbon fiber, when I watch your videos a couple of years ago when you were installing your steering wheel I've been getting stuff from Jalisco's he makes great products man. I went with the all honeycomb

I've had this on my car for a year now and it's still in one piece and it was $189 when I bought it, if you're spending $300 onna spoiler you're getting robbed lol

Anyone chime in! What could I use to protect this duck bill from the sun? The sun eats it up by cracking the clear outer layer or it turns yellowish in time. Any recommendations/tips/protectants?

Good idea to wet sand and clear it before install. Otherwise applying a good sealer regularly is helpful. Or you can do a ceramic coating

I got one, M4 style, and it took two orders to get one that fit. BUT it has so far held up great knock on wood. I’d get it coated and keep it sealed well.

Paul Orias I used chemical guys hydrocharge temporarily. If you can find something with uv protection that would be best

Thats what im looking for m style but in gloss black, i havent found one yet.... i use bead maker or carpro reload to seal my vehicles

Did you measure for the gaps at sides of trunk? Or just eye it

I dry fit it first and marked edges with blue tape.

@@SpeedCultureStudios I prefer the duckbill trunk color matched to the car( it costs a lot more ) than just sticking a big piece of carbon fiber on the trunk lid...it DOES look good on your car and other darker colored Q50's IMO.

$noopyRUger I always prefer color matched, but the rear of these cars are so unbalanced with the long front that it really needs a more aggressive/substantial spoiler.

It’s a carbon fiber skin basically. A layer of real carbon over fiberglass I’m sure. But looks good and fit perfect.

Well this car didn’t have a stock spoiler but yes many cars do have bolt holes which can be unfortunate
