From SDA's Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ 2013) a charity speed run marathon which aimed to raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. The marathon was a MASSIVE success, with donations reaching $448,423.27.

Metal Morph is a video game developed by Origin Systems and published by FCI, Inc. for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The gameplay alternated between run and gun and scrolling shooter (playing as a space ship). Both the player character and his space ship are able to use MetalMorphosis (a fictional transformation ability unique to the game) to navigate certain areas. For those who stumble across these videos, a speed run is a video of a person or persons, completing a game as fast as possible using any means possible. This can include glitches, abusing in-game mechanics and skipping items or even playing events out of sequence.

The game's programmer went on to work for Data Design, and programmed Data Design's most famous games, such as Action Girlz Racing and Ninjabread Man (and that game's dozen or so asset flips)...

They are probably uploading videos set to private and then making them public on a schedule. That way once it's public, youtube has fully processed it so that higher resolutions are available. Considering many of these videos are quite long, youtube processing probably takes several hours so uploading in advance of making it public is a very good idea.

they are uploaded as a private video until it finishes processing by youtube so we dont have to watch in shit-o-vision. during this time, the uploader can comment on his own video before making it public.

Basically, it ends with the aliens flying through the hypergate themselves to invade Earth. A devious, unresolved cliffhanger, if you will. Then again, let's be glad that sequel never came.

Honestly I lobe Bluegrass, I really do, he is a great person and great runner, but he has got to control his laught since it really gets annoying during a whole run. I know he is just enjoying himself and by helping this cause he has any right, but maybe he is able to put a silencer in this high pitched laugh for the greater good ;) No hard feelings, since this is really no great thing!

I believe everyone in the audience is made up of speedrunners that run games during the event. If there isn't any female runners running games, then they won't be in the audience. I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding on your part, but there is no need to cry sexism when the fact is there is a lot less female runners in the community, which SDA can't help. I don't see how this is misogynistic.
