Thank you so much for the review Sam! It's been a pleasure getting to connect with (and learn from) from you over the years! Back when we first released meca-quartz, you did give us some great advice around the meca-quartz pieces - with the existing VK movements, it's the lesser of two evils - either the dead dial (no second movement) or 24hr counter - we prefer the live second hand!

I love this look, but I’m disappointed in the choice of the VK movement. The chronograph is just not that usable because the minutes register is so hard to read. I’d prefer a movement with a 30min register and running seconds like a Ronda 5021.D. That VK is really ruining chronographs for me. But praise to Vaer for this superb design.

It’s a handsome design at a reasonable price. There is some resemblance to my vintage Omega Seamaster Soccer timer chronograph.

Your right, they do look very similar, I guess that shows what good value the Vaer is on the Bracelet.

@@CasualWatchReviews Yeah, I'm guessing they are using the same dealer. Although, for a 1000$ watch, the bracelet on the 1545 is a bit on the weak side
