Hey Dave, I’m going for C. Donkey Attendant! Also, I wrestled my speedometer bullet recently and learned of you start the car briefly before pulling the bullet out it won’t leak fluid all over. At least it worked for me.

C put a few drops of oil in the speedo head lay face down leave it for a hour then see if makes noise if it dose take apart spray out good with air especially around the bell where needle is dirt builds up in it and causes it to make the noise you have
