hey there! long time no Coastal. I need to seriously up my game on how much content I produce for my boys so here have a long awaited Logan. I changed his harpy mark a bit (stripe down his chin), it now goes way down to his chest. also he has some cool jewelry Amo made for him now!
did you know he collects seaglass? now you do.
uses literally any song by Cosmo Sheldrake EXCEPT the one about pelicans.
as for future coastal stuff, I have some character designs in mind which I might make a speedpaint of (they won't be part of the main crew though), but the comic itself probably has to wait til I'm done with school lol

Do you have any tips for picking colours? I notice yours are pretty desaturated and a lot darker than mine, and it looks amazing! So, of course, I wanna learn from the art-master (my god I love your art). Keep doing what you're doing, it's amazing!

I absolutely love how much detail you put into the lineart and colour. Things that would never cross my mind like making the string in the bracelet fade into the sea glass. But I have to know, you seem to do very minimal shading. With how much detail you put into library and colour you barely need it, but, I would still be curious to know if you ever had or ever will make something with more detailed shading. Or, a digital painting? Not criticism just curious. Loved this!

I'm happy you noticed! I've attempted more detailed ways of coloring and shading before, only to find that it alters the "feel" of the drawing. Not like it's something I just need to work on being able to replicate it, but the plain colors and minimal shading gives the drawings a sort of clarity I have a lot of control over, I can decide which parts of the drawing draw more attention than the others all while making the detail in the lineart keep the purpose I've put in it. I hope this makes sense ahah, I always find it kind of hard to explain my reasoning behind my choices! It's still just a preference however, I can definitely appreciate detailed coloring styles like Kawocy as well, and might attempt something more ambitious in the future again :'D

TheDangerWolf Nope, different jacket! Hal's jacket has fur on the inside and is a bomber jacket, while the one Logan is wearing looks to be another kind.
