None of them know that you can smelt netherrack into netherbricks? All you gotta do is put it in a furnace, and then take the netherbricks an craft them together like you would do with normal bricks.

Tip: Build up a pole by some sea or ocean with a boat a fishing rod and maybe some sand and punch those hunters off and just boat off when u need to

Pro tip: As soon as you kill the hunters, burn their stuff using flint-and-steel so that they can't use it, and have to start from beginning
