A compilation of some wild and crazy crashes from the 2014/15 ANDRA Drag Racing Championship season. The 15 minute video features a dozen crashes including Phil Lamattina and Gary Phillips from the 2015 Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway, Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Tony Hinkley and Daniel Camilleri at Calder Park and Richard Caval and Robert Cassar at Sydney Dragway. That's why you pop them as soon as you start loosing it. Dig up one of Frankie Taylor's videos. He's a prime example of saving the car with a chute.

Dude, the car in the thumbnail? He didn't pop the chute until he was already on his side... and sliding sideway. And if you look at 1:07, he tried to, but was late. 2:54 and 8:47 would have been saved if they had.

231mac dude if they where traveling the speed they where and the back end swung out u wouldn't pull the shoot because it would catch try to make it straight and then it will swing out the other way quickly and would possible roll the car

/M0ther_bra1ned/ You guys must not know cars at all. These pro mods / pro stocks are unpredictable. There are many cases where cars will randomly shift to the left or right randomly just like that. I don’t know what causes it but this same incident has happened many times to other cars. Sometimes even when they’re going 250+ MPH.

1:10 Bro wtf the driver was lucky! If the car didn’t get wind under it which caused it to fly up, it would’ve went straight into that wall and the accident would be much worse. Looks like a miracle to me.

Correction: as a drag racer, the rules state that when you cross the center line, you lose immediately. allen actually won by the green indicator right next to the name when the graphic shows up
