Even though he did get a head start, he actually did really well with staying well ahead of the other athletes which i can say is really hard because its tricky to stay the same speed and consistency throughout the whole race. And a big camera along with it. Huge kudos to him.

I'm not really surprised though. Cameramen are extraordinary breeds of humans. In the movies, they can survive nuclear blasts, They were able to keep up during the fight of General Zod and Superman, They were able to capture the fight between Godzilla and Kong unscathed, heck, even Zombies ignore them in every zombie movie I know.

That's nothing. The cameramen I knew stayed on a dying planet and captured the moments when a Super Saiyan fought a demon alien. They were also fast enough to be just ahead of these two while they were teleporting all over the battleground.

He was losing his lead as they were approaching the finish line, and he did start out way ahead of the runners, but he does have some serious skills in running and being able to hold a camera that steady. I will definitely give him props for being able to do all that.

@@pevo2000 I don’t know how old the runners are but the cameraman is literally just a college student. It said it in the video, so he definitely isn’t “old.” Also how do you know this guy trained to be faster then the runners? He’s not in the race so you could assume he might not be an athlete.

@@pevo2000 I just wanted to point out how much of an idiot you are. Alright, it's done, have a nice day. 1.- Being older is generally a drawback in sports. 2.- Being older doesn't mean you are trained... 3.- Their job is to train every day, at least it SHOULD be in comparison to a CAMERA man.

I'm impressed by the guy hovering over the track and then able to get an overhead shot of the cameraman filming the runners. Shame its obvious the cameraman cadence is slower than the runners, yet he stays ahead. This is the future of the Olympics. AI ....

Fun fact : when you turn your head sideways while running straight you lose around 25% of your uniform acceleration and non uniform hand movement while sprinting make you lose speed as the pace of the feet are reflected from the movement of your hands. This conclude holding a camera and turning all the way back to the runners make our cameraman far slower than his normal speed. Champion right there
