What batteries do you guys recommend to power this? I’ll be putting one in a carf rebel hot. I’ve heard of some people using life rather than lipo? I would have thought 2x 2s Lipos of about 2500mah would have been right but have heard that it depends on what your servo voltage is. Do I need to worry about servo voltage or does this regulate that?

Please 2 questions : 1 - This function of putting the plane in sleep mode and waking it up later from the TX will only be available on new receivers like the AR20410T or will it be extended to the AR10400T/AR14400T/AR20400T line ?? 2 - Will Synapse work with the AR10400T, AR14400T and AR20400T receivers ?

1 - Only 20410T. Its part of the hardware design, not just software. 2 - Also only 20410T. Its a new port and interface required which previous receivers don't have.

I love using spectrum but iam getting into turbine jets an iam told to not go this way radio signal loss an jets going down i want to stay with spectrum but dont want the loss or hear i told you so , iam so confused,, help

Hi there what do you think of this setup AS3X & SAFE iam getting ready to setup my first turbine jet I have flown edf jets for years but all my friends that fly turbines say to me to stay away from spectrum it sounds like this new setup would work just asking for your input I use spectrum receiver & transmitter now I asked them why they say stay an the reply is( signal loss )an it's not good. Any help would be appreciated

It certainly can! But keep in mind that the Synapse is only compatible with the AR20410T PowerSafe Receiver. You will not be able to access all of its channels.

Hey Kev, whats up man. I fly at Ga Jets with a bunch of guys that roll up with trailers full worth more than my house...not a joke. I can't even imagine. Anyway, many of the flight control systems they use are unreal expensive. I'm guessing for a guy with 15 to 25k in a turbine model, $500 won't be something they balk at. I don't have anything that needs this level of flight controller, but I'm also guessing this ain't aimed at guys like me. My most expensive plane is a 85" Edge I have about 2k in. The kind of guy that will use this has more than that in their retracts. I guess what I'm saying is...everything is relative. If I had planes that complicated and expensive, this would be convenient for me since I'm a Spektrum user (since like 2010, before YT). I need simple...lol.

We've had 10 years of AS3X, which has been more than adequate. This product wasn't developed over 10 years, but we have taken feedback for that period. At $500 you are getting a top-level stabilization system along with a world-class 20-channel receiver. If you are comparing to competitors, an equivalent (yet less featured) setup would run you about the same or more.

$500 for a 20-channel RX and a top-level gyro system is too much? Can we compare that to our competitors for a moment? Let us look at the Cortex. It's $330 alone. The iGryo? $268. Then most of our competitors will require you to buy two of their 10-channel RXs to match ours, which are typically around $140-150 each. Lastly, we can look at the Smoothflite ARXL - Its $479.99. Cheers!

When guy’s are flying jet’s worth a few thousand pounds you would be stupid not to have this in your plane I suppose I have safe and as3x in all my foamys cos I wanna have them back in one piece lol 😂

It’s a terrible deal. They force you to buy this new receiver just to get the so called greatest “AS3X+” gyro, and you cant even use it with any of the other spektrum power safe receivers. 👎🏾
