This video is useful to get the voice alerts but I can't get the vario tone to work. On my Dx9 I have a rising and lowering tone as my glider rises or lowers, I can't get the same on my ix12. Im sure its possible but (once again) nothing in the manual and no tutorials. Maybe a Tutorial on Vario telemetry that shows ALL of the options available would be a good idea.

Did you turn on the vario with a switch? That is required before it will start sounding off

@@SpektrumRCvideos yes I went to "Telemetry" then "Vario" scrolled down and activated a switch. When I go back to the telemetry screen the graph shows the height changes but no audio.

Thanks altitude is fine now, but the vario set up on the ix12 does not seem to follow the same procedure(for a beep)

Got the IX-12 and use the original Vario from Spektrum. But I get all announcements in feet and not in meters. I have no idea how to change that. As it looks, the Vario Ton also works with feet.

Did you go to the Telemetry Settings menu and change the measurements to metric?

Can you get this call outs on the DX9?

Not at the same level, but the DX9 does have preset audio alerts that can be turned on and setup to your preferences. Just not with the ability to use text to speech (DX9 is preset phrases) or Macros

Your videos can be better bring camera closer to TV, so we can see what you are doing better, turn TV to camera not at a angle, we don't need to see you just your voice.
