S100 USB-C Smart Charger Overview and Tutorial

In this video we go over the new S100 Smart Charger! This charger is incredibly handy and powerful for its price point and size. All you need is to provide it power via a USB-C Cable and power supply. Power supplies can range from dedicated high wattage power supplies like those commonly used for laptops all the way down to a power brick for convenient outlet free power.

I'm a hitec user, I've been trying to buy a smart charger for my radios and receivers. What charging device do you guys recommend? I'm on the process of building and electric plane too that is going to need lipo batteries for the engine. Any suggestions?

If you mean for powering the charger, no. It needs to be some sort of USB power source. Now if you had something that could convert the DC power of a lipo to a USB, then yes.

I have the S150 and so I got one because of this video. I get one and it can’t connect to anything that works. Makita battery, wall charger, car plug inverter. 2s or 3s. Nothing works or this one is bunk.

You need to make the spma 3065 and spma 3068 available to purchase from horizon hobby. It's on never-ending backorder. I now have a useless dxs because I can't get it to control the ailerons on my aeroscout s. Or make a video showing how to make your own cable. Or start making your transmitters with USBa or usb-c so we don't have to buy proprietary cables for every single one of your overpriced products!
