In this video I show you how I made a tower of Halloween spell books for a decorative prop. This one is not only simple but so much fun ! I absolutely love this kind of crafting. No rules just go with the flow and get it all on there. My favourite part about Halloween crafting is highlighting the hot glue with the silver paint. The hardest part is coming up with names for the spell books .. something I am not altogether great at.

How could anyone not love messy crafting? Purple is my all time favourite colour. This totally looks so cool. The silver really did bring it alive. Loved it.. Great work as usual.

These are awesome! Using the glue gun for most of the embellishments looks cool but also saves a lot of time! I feel like my paper mache books took a long time to do because of having to wait for everything to dry before moving on to the next steps. Good job on these, Claire! :)

thank you so much Trish xx yes it really does speed things up ... xx although I do forget how long it takes for paint to dry ... it is weird. I have the patience to wait 24 hours for resin ... but 15 mins for paint ? nope ! I am there with the heat gun and the hairdryer and just hurry up already ! haaaaaa

I made one a few years ago and it was a blast to make! I do love the skull...it looks distressed and that’s perfect. I ordered some Craft Resin on your recommendation...it will be here tomorrow! I was like Nooooooooo the book's. I don't like to break books or anything because I believe books are knowledge. It came out so pretty. And my little ones loved it and they say they want to make one. They also asked how do we make the books. I told them that's easy to do. With cardboard boxes. I forgot to say that I like how you write. My hand writing is ugly
