I can remember when I was going to propose to my wife on holiday I was that nervous about the ring getting lost and had it in my pocket as we went through security and the alarm went off and as we were the only two there she seen what I was trying to hide so I proposed on the spot she said yes and the airline bumped us up to business class

They broke up but if you watch their explanation video they said that year was a learning curve, it’s not as if they’ve been a couple for a few months, they went on a long break but they both said it brought them closer and that’s why he’s proposed.

Their last video gives some insight into this - I think being apart helped them realize that they were better together, so at this point, they didn't have any doubts and were ready to go forward.
